Correct me if I'm wrong but
freedom of speech is the right to free speech. I think we have become like a
world of double standards. What I mean by that is, it's ok to speak as long as
we are not offending someone or something even though in our hearts we
know that what he or she doing is morally wrong. Yet, we are supposed to
accept our President trying to change the whole constitution and laws to fit
that of gays, lesbians, and trans genders, terrorists, Muslims and
we're supposed to think that everything is all right. Here is a problem
with that, it's unconstitutional, immoral, and unethical. Phil Robertson from
the show "Duck Dynasty" which I have never watched before because I
only have basic cable, I don't get A&E and frankly to be honest, I don't
watch too much television these days because there is nothing
on worth watching too much. That will be another blog for another day
someday. The point that I'm trying to make is that Phil Robertson was reading
out of the Bible about homosexuality as being a sin and an abomination to God.
Here's the interesting part, Christians are condoning it saying stuff
"Well, I'm not gay and I don't have a problem with it." That's like
saying "Well, I know that homosexuality is wrong but I'm not gay so
it's ok for 2 men or 2 women to get married and sleep together." Until
Christians and I am talking about born again Christians that are truly on fire
for God start speaking out and stop being influenced by double standards, false
teachings from false prophets, and being brainwashed, then none of this will be
an issue like it is now. Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the
liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the
yoke of bondage." (Nelson, 2001)
I
wrote in a blog some time ago about my views on homosexuality and why it is a
sin. I am not going to emphasize that blog but I will emphasize a
Bible verse for those who have the attitude thinking "Well its ok for gays
to get married and adopting kids and should have the same rights as people who
are not gay." Hebrews 10:26-27 "For if we sin willfully after that we
have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for
sins. But a certain fearful looking for judgment and fiery indignation, which
shall devour the adversaries." (Nelson, 2001) God loves us all
before we accepted his Son Jesus Christ as our Savior, who died on the cross
for our sins. When you don't know any better you can't expect to do better but
once you have the knowledge of right and wrong then there is no excuse for sin.
For those who think as long as it's not me sinning but condoning others
sins Romans 1:32 says "Who knowing the judgment of God, that they
which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have
pleasure in them that do them." (Nelson, 2001) It's simple, if you know
you are not a homosexual but say you don't have a problem with a lifestyle of
someone else that is a homosexual you're just as guilty of sin as those who are
in that lifestyle. We all have a right to speak our mind and freedom of speech.
What we can't change we can only pray but to be forced to accept the
things that are immoral, unethical, and unconstitutional is something I don't
agree with and I won't pretend that I do. Especially with what Pastor
Saeed Adedini is going through being jailed in Iran because he is an
Iranian American and a Christian and Muslims hate anyone who don't believe like
they do. Freedom of speech is simply the right to speak out about legitimate
things that are unconstitutional, unethical, or immoral not for personal gain.
I just thought I would say this in my blog.

Kim
Davis first of all should have never went to jail. Kim Davis I felt did the
right thing by not issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. I feel that
more Christians like Kim Davis need to take a stand & stand up for their
Christian beliefs, the reason why a lot of Christians are not standing up for
their beliefs is because the teaching & doctrine that they are being taught
in churches is compromising such sin as homosexuality. There is no one who is
going to tell me to comprise what I feel is right to try and suit 2%-3%
population that say they are LGBT (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender)
that is morally wrong. When the Supreme Court voted 5-4 that the 50 states
legalized same-sex marriage 2 months ago, counties in Texas, Kentucky, and
Alabama were not compromising. Marriage is & always is between a man and a
woman, it's in the constitution. No one tried to shove it down the throats of
lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender because we love everybody but what we
don't like is the sin but since the Supreme Court made their ruling we are
supposed to let them shove it down our throats if what we believe what the
Bible say about homosexuality is a sin to accept homosexuality as normal? I
don't think so. I am proud of Kim Davis for what she has done & and I am
happy for what Mike Huckabee did by helping Kim Davis get released from jail. I
am also proud of the 300 plus supporters that rallied for Kim Davis being
released from jail. I was prepared to sign every petition I got emailed to
support Kim Davis. I think Kim Davis should continue to stand up for what she
believe is morally right!
